More companies eyed in black market for nukes
VIENNA, Austria (AP) — An investigation of the black market supplying nations seeking nuclear arms has spread to more than 20 firms — some of them North American — the chief of the U.N. atomic agency told The Associated Press Friday. A senior diplomat identified one of the firms as U.S. based.

The diplomat, speaking on condition of anonymity, also said Syria and Saudi Arabia were being investigated as possible buyer nations, beyond Iraq, Iran, Libya and North Korea — the countries known to have been in contact with Pakistani scientist A.Q. Khan and members of his procurement network.

.....In separate comments, IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei avoided specifics on the locations of the firms supplying the nuclear black market beyond saying there were "over 20 countries, some of them in North America."

The diplomat said at least one of them was in the United States. He declined to elaborate. But he said what is known about that company sheds new light on the activities of the network, known up to now for primarily supplying technology to North Korea, Libya and Iran as part of the process allowing them to make enriched uranium that can be used either to generate electricity or make weapons.

Sadly, our world has turned its back on mankind. Weapons of mass destruction and/or the components required to make them are available to anyone with the right connections and money.

Another point that I think needs to be said is that information regarding the locations of WMD's turned over to the feds may NOT necessarily be investigated. Credibility has nothing to do with it....how the information was reported, to what agency, and the person's position that it was reported to, has everything to do with it!!!

If anyone out there has any information about the possible location of a WMD, I suggest going to the Rewards For Justice website https://www.rewardsforjustice.net/english/Tip_Form.cfm and provide the information that you have.

You can remain anonymous, do not have to provide contact info, nor accept a reward for your information if offered. Believe it or not, a threat of such a serious nature, stands a much better chance of being forwarded to the appropriate agency for immediate action, then one submitted to a specific agency, that may get lost in bureaucracy....I am very serious!

The information submitted to RFJ is immediately logged and can be traced to where the info was sent, so there is no question as to if the feds had actaully received it.

That's my two cents worth anyway!
