Keep the Blue Hats out of our elections!

Although I wonder, if the election goes like it did in 2000, what would keep the Dems from requesting UN "intervention"?

The bipartisan commission, they stressed, determined "that the 'disenfranchisement of Florida's voters fell most harshly on the shoulders of black voters' and in poor counties." Both groups vote predominantly Democratic in US elections.

Hasn't this claim been pretty thoroughly debunked, or laid at the feet of an incompotent election manager in one county who happens to also be Black?

"what would keep the Dems from requesting UN "intervention"?"

The fact that a large number of Americans would consider the "interveners" an invading army, and would take appropriate action.

The Dims like to ignore it, but they are keenly aware of the Second Amendment and what it means. It's why they want so dearly to gut it.

In any case, if this DID happen, the Dims would lose at least half the states, forever.

Can I ask a serious question?

Are UN troops even allowed within the borders of the USA?
Couldn't I consider this an invading force?
I'm being serious, can anyone cite FACTS about this?

Thanks,
BITS

This is hysterical. Gee observers from such bastions of Democracy like Libya, Haiti, Belorus and Indonesia could "advise" the US on fair elections....

Thirty-six days after the November 7, 2000 presidential election, after several state court interventions and vote recounts in numerous Florida counties, the US Supreme Court ruled in favor of Republican George W. Bush, awarding him all of Florida's 25 electoral votes.

Actually, the Supreme Court did not award any electral votes to anyone. The Supreme Court just held that the process the Florida Supreme Court came up with was not the one authorized by law, and the laws in place at the time of the election had to be adhered to.

Isn't she afraid that some people might think the Blue Helmets are an invading army and treat them accordingly? These Black Caucus Rats appear to have hit rock bottom and started digging.

"Several members of the House of Representatives have requested the United Nations (news - web sites) to send observers to monitor the November 2 US presidential election to avoid a contentious vote like in 2000, when the outcome was decided by Florida."

So, they ask the most corrupt organization in the world to monitor our elections?

Sure, that makes sense.

Those who suggested this should be charged with treason or something similar. Inviting an invading army into our Country should be punishable by death.

The ruling tipped the balance against Democratic contender and then vice president Al Gore (news - web sites), who with 267 electoral votes lost to Bush's 271, only one more than the minimum 270 needed to clinch the presidential election.

Kofi doesn't want a repeat because he wants the Dems to win. Clinton will take over his job as head of the UN, and Kofi can enjoy the millions he stole from the Iraqi people in the oil scandal.
