True story. A guy at work let's call him Jim Doe had a medical problem so he was out sick for a few weeks. Well one day the boss comes in and sees someone left a note saying something along the lines of, "Jim Doe passed". The boss then announces to everyone that Jim Doe passed away and he'll tell us when the funeral is. Turns out Jim Doe had passed by to see how everyone was doing. Very important difference.
Okay, time for a source. Henry Fonda was Brando's father? Sounds like a Snopes moment to me.
Uhhh...the pork checkoff is a bit more complicated than Glickman being a Jew as you imply; most pork producers voted to end it and the courts held it as unconstitutional.
Are you sure he just doesn't smell funny?
Cigar Aficionado had an interview with Coppola a few issues back and recounts that screen test.
It wasn't even a screen test, as I recall. Someone was sitting in the room with him suggesting the role, and he just started playing the part. He poured some water from a vase into his hands and smoothed his hair, and used black shoe polish in it to make it streak, then he put the tissue in his cheeks.
They thought he was cracking up, and then everybody met Don Corleone.
I really don't think it is an indication of anti-Semitism so much as the result of a descent into madness.
If you have heard any of Bobby Fischer's interviews from the past few years you'll know what I mean.
Fine actor, probably a foolish man.
Foxnews.com has "Breaking" banner now. Why did this take so long to get out?
What are you rebelling against....Johnny?
I dunno....whatta ya got?
LOL! Thanks
His roles were uneven, but a few truly great movies starred Brando.
Good actor but all are a little weird arent they

Supposedly, when Brando first appeared on the stage on opening night as Stanley Kowalski in Streetcar Named Desire, many in the audience thought a stagehand had accidentally walked on to the stage.
His imitation of the working class Stanley was electrifying perfect.
Stellaaaaa!!!!
You must make a friend of horror......
