We're taking it easy and sticking around home. My inlaws are coming over for dinner tomorrow and then at night will head across the street to the field and watch the fireworks go off

Just finished making my salad and when hubby gets back from running to the store for dog food (I can't believe we forgot that last night in Wal-Mart) we're heading out.............
Needless to say I will be AWOL the rest of the day!!!!
No plans other than watching the Fourth festivities on TV. Love the Boston Pops and their great young conductor, especially.
We live in a beach resort community and we batten down the hatches Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends when it seems the whole Southeast comes here to go swimming.
Can't say as I blame them, though -- we have the best beaches in the world.
