U.S. Army troops of the 1st Cavalry division's 2nd Battalion arrive for a dawn ceremony in which the Iraqi flag was raised for the first time, and U.S. flag lowered to half staff, at a base in south eastern Baghdad, June 29, 2004. Thousands more former soldiers could be ordered to Iraq (news - web sites) and Afghanistan (news - web sites) in addition to 5,600 reservists already set to be called back into active-duty service, the Army said on June 30.
