Actually, Spiderman would trounce whoever it was up against. But don't you think Michael Moore picked the timing of the release of his movie so it would be up against rather weak competition? The 4th of July weekend is usually a big weekend for releasing blockbuster movies. The week or so before that sometimes has lame also ran movies.
