Let's hope this was just one hijacking attempt, and not part of a wider wave.My first thought was that it was part of more (hijacking is risky business these days) but because it was, apparently, so poorly done I hope – I pray – it is isolated.
Well, what it most probably is, is a Turkish guy, living in Germany (there are huge numbers of Turkish people in Germany), who tried to hijack a plane to his native country because he's probably trying to make "a statement" about the NATO meeting and the Bush visit there.
I know its early days, but I have a feeling thats what it might be. The story broke about an hour ago btw.
