If any Islamazoids think they could have taken a hijacked aircraft within 100 miles of a US President in Istanbul, they're total idiots.
Then again, most of those guys are total idiots, so that might have actually been their plan...

I do believe we've just witnessed an attempted (and thankfully aborted) 9-11-style assassination! Not likely ... the hijack attempt was too early in the flight to Istanbul. Maybe a target closer ... but a 3 hour flight to Istanbul would have been easily intercepted long before arriving over a target in that area.
