I received a call the other day while at work from a "US Gov. Agency" according to my caller ID. I called the number, it was an Army Recruiter. The conversation went like this:

Army; "the Army is interested in speaking with you about serving"

NS; "I am very interested but I fear that I am too old, 34".

Army; "Just in time"

I received information and am trying to work things out in my life so that things at home are/will be taken care of and that my other half will be OK.

She is not happy about what I plan on doing but it is important.

I'm 50..female...and I'd go tomorrow. My son said he'd go back (returned in January from Iraq deployment) to Iraq or Afghanistan or anywhere.

Ok, get your neighbors and your Church involved in "caring" for your wife while your gone.

My heart goes with you - and if you want "care packages", you only have to let me or patriciaruth know, and they will be on the way. I mean it.
