heads, I did my part against that nonsense, man. A few of us went to all the debates and made nuisances of ourselves for Liberal scumbags to try to make them lose their tempers.
I went to a Women's Issues All Candidates forum for the three London-area riding. I was so sick of the audience inviting and eating up their idiotic claptrap about "children and the environment" "the environment and children".
I thought, Let's make these idiots choose BETWEEN children and the environment. Totally deadpan:
"My question is for Joe Fontana of the Liberal Party. Your party proposes a 6 billion dollar government child care program. Yet, having a child is one of the most environmentally destructive choices a person can make. A new life is far more ecologically destructive than a new SUV. Your program will provide an incentive for more people to have more children, thus harming our environment. So my question for you is, Which comes first -- the environment? Or -- Children?"
My cohorts (who were also prepared with Lib-harassing questions and performed admirably) said Fontana's face FELL and it was priceless. He flipped out ;-)
You might say I was castigated in response ;-)
"HAVE SOME RESPECT!!!"
Another funny part was the Green organizer who came up to me later -- "Ooo, a lot of us agree with your question (sic) but if you phrase it like that it turns people right off."
I played dumb and got her to say some rather mounds-o'-skulls things...

Isn't it odd the way all of these 'socially progressive' ideas start out with the shining eyes of youthful idealists and students, and end with the blank, staring eyes of corpses in ditches?
