I think you are over reacting. I don't hear anyone talking about it (and I'm in NY), except for here on FR. We know what percentage of the US population are Dems, any fraction of that adds up to enough of an audience to generate these box office receipts for this.
The 21 million it's already made makes it a success. I still won't see Bowling For Columbine because I don't want to pay Moore any money. Nonetheless, let's acknowledge the facts and continue from there.
(Not to engate in false appearances myself, I would never vote for Bush. He's taken the first Rep. House and Senate majorities in 50 yrs. and hugely increased Clinton's budgets for farming and for the "Arts"...which have nothing to do with security. I was against Iraq and also against wars not voted as such by Congress, but I don't particularly blame Bush for the way it's going.)
