The Washington Post has a frontpage story about how outraged the Iraqis are at the thugs who are killing Moslems there--they are referring to them as infidels and denouncing Zarqawi. I think this will backfire in Turkey.
Islam is an Arab religion --- really the Arabs get to define it --- they can kill Turks and Persians but not vice-versa. In the Iraqi-Iranian war, the Persians were slaughtered and the mullahs sent in 15 year old kids to be killed --- but that didn't stop the Persians from staying in the Arab religion.
I've been preaching since 911 that it's the terrorists who are the infidels referred to in the Koran. One out of a thousand heard me on FR. Selective hearing, I guess.
I'd be delighted to saw off Zarqawi's head, with full Koranic decorum.
Islam is spread by terror and violence. It became established in the Sudan after 2 million people were slaughtered. The Turkish Muslims will be invigorated by this and cause more trouble for their government. They can't turn against the Arabs or they wouldn't be good muslims.

Zarqawi Group Kidnaps Three Turks in Iraq

CAIRO, Egypt — Supporters of Jordanian-born militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (search) said Saturday that they have kidnapped three Turkish workers in Iraq and threatened to behead them within 72 hours, the Arab television station Al-Jazeera reported.
The report of the abduction came hours before President Bush was to arrive in Turkey for a NATO summit, which will focus on winning the alliance's help in establishing security in Iraq.
An al-Jazeera anchor said the kidnappers threatned in a statement to kill the three Turks unless Turkish companies withdraw from Iraq.
The station aired a videotaped warning from al-Zarqawi's group, Tawhid and Jihad (Monotheism and Holy War), showing the three men saying their names in Turkish and what kind of jobs they were doing in Iraq.
An al-Jazeera employee told The Associated Press the station received the tape on Saturday. The statement did not say when or where the three were abducted.
Al-Zarqawi's movement has also claimed responsibility for kidnapping and beheading American businessman Nicholas Berg (search) last month and South Korean hostage Kim Sun-il (search) last week.
Mohammed was an Arab and he did slaughter many people himself. Turks might be a more moderate people but Islam is an Arab religion and the moon symbols come from an ancient Arab religion.

There is really one Islam and it comes from a book written by Mohammed who proclaimed himself a prophet of allah. There really isn't many kinds of different islams. Fundamentalists return to the root and the Koran. Islam isn't something that accepts secular governments.
