People from this country have invented every single important piece of technology in the entire world.
Europe, sitting over there for centuries, like a stagnant pond..
Along comes a group of human beings who decide they had enough, and that they want to live free from tyrannical rule.
What a bunch of dumb people they were for even thinking freedom would work.
I never looked at it that way before but that is a great observation.
The last significant invention or discovery I can think of that was European is the steam engine. And when was that? 1770?
