ISTANBUL - A bomb blast ripped through a city bus, killing two people in Istanbul on Thursday, days before President Bush arrives in the country for a NATO summit, Turkish television said.
Earlier on Thursday a small parcel bomb exploded outside the Hilton Hotel in the capital Ankara, where Bush is due to stay on Saturday night before attending the summit in Istanbul. That blast wounded three people.
The Turkish government . hosts the NATO summit in Istanbul on June 28-29..

Al Qaeda is dumber than I thought if they're starting to do this in Turkey. Turkey has been gradually sliding more and more Islamic recently, their relations with Israel are getting a bit strained, they blocked us from sending the 4th Infantry Division through their territory last year...and Al Qaeda starts blowing up Turkish buses anyway? Whatever Islamonazi did this is STUPID.
Good rule of thumb: Do not piss off the Turks. Ever. They will make you regret it.

Athens is next. You got that right, my friend.
It'll probably happen no matter the extent of the security prep at the Olympics. I can only pray that no one gets hurt...and maybe an act of terrorism at the games will convince the "axis of squishies" to get on board with the fight.

Mohammedanism. The default religion of assassins. Merely following in Mohammed's I as the Koran commands the faithful to do.Mohammed....isn't it true that he raped little girls, as in really young children? And if so, maybe this is why radical terrorist Muslim men are so afraid of grown women and keep them down, considering them dirtier than dogs, focusing their lust, instead, on the the reward in heaven for slaughtering innocent infidels of getting to nail 72 virgins. Of course grown Muslim men don't really buy this...but they can get the younger men interested by spreading this crap.

Why on earth are they targeting Turkey? 1. Because they're fools.
2. Because Turkey is our ally.
3. They're trying to stir up Islamic sentiment against the Turkish government.

I can read arabic script, although I can't tell you what it means in most cases...
As I read it, that is indeed fubar (the first part is most certainly Allah (Alif, double Lam, Ha, which is spelt odd in Arabic, ie. it doesn't follow normal conventions)

One would think that alone would be enough for people to hold this creep in deep disrespect. That is so vile it seems surreal.

As usual, in this instance, there is no "occupation" of Istanbul or anything like that right? So they have a right to do whatever they want...you will see the UN convene and give them a backing momentarily as well. I wonder if they will be asked to exercise "restraint." It's like that saying, (I don't know it verbatim, maybe someone can post it) "first they came for the Jews, but I wasn't Jewish, so I did nothing...."
This cancer has spread beyond Israel and the Middle East, and people are experiencing first-hand what these Muslim terrorists are all about.
To: freeasinbeer; dennisw
LOL!!! That's too funny. The Mohammedean conception of God is indeed FUBAR.

"Turkey is a sufficiently strong and secure country. Such incidents happen everywhere, in London, in Paris, everywhere," Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul told reporters, adding that the Bush visit would go ahead as scheduled. I don't recall any bombs going off in Paris. Does FM Gul know something we don't?

Why do mass beheadings and burnings come to mind? :-) Because that is what Kemal Ataturk did to the native Christians?
