"I was afraid that I would lose my daughter's love and respect. You know, my daughter is a remarkable person. But sooner or later, every child learns that his or her parents are not perfect. But this was way beyond that, and it was a big dose to swallow," he said.

Just when I'm ready to reply with a "Who Cares?" to X42's nonsense, a thread like this will generate 200 responses.

, and it was a big dose to swallow," he said.

Most of what he says is just so much BS, but this explaination of his actions and reasons for not admitting to what he had done is "too much to swallow."

First, if he were at anytime concerned about his daughters respect, why did he get he make his famous "I did not have sex with that woman...." speech. Bill Clinton is only concerned about Bill Clinton. He may now realize that he would like to win a Nobel prize or get some humanitarian awards so he an delude himself into thinking that history will judge him as a great man, rather than a deeply flawed and corrupt man.

One of the greatest suprises for me has been that more stories of his corruption have not been told since he lost power. Considering all the women he alledgedly raped, I would have expected much more dirt to have come out about him.
