KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, June 22 (Reuters) - Afghan soldiers beheaded four Taliban fighters after guerrillas cut off the heads of an Afghan interpreter for U.S.-led forces and an Afghan soldier, a government commander said on Tuesday.The interpreter and the soldier were beheaded after becoming separated from a patrol of Afghan and U.S.-led foreign troops in the Arghandab district of Zabul province on Monday night, Namatullah Tokhi, commander of the government's 27th division in the province, told Reuters.
He said government troops later captured and killed four Taliban guerrillas in the same way. "They cut of their heads with a knife, so when our forces arrested four Taliban, we cut off their heads too."
I'm tempted to dedicate the song "Put your head on my shoulder" to the taliban, but with slightly altered lyrics.

I have been to both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Those people are with us because the penalty for not being with us is too great for them to bear. They are not allies we can count on.
Now which sheetheads do you think are on our side again? The sooner we recognize that Mohammedism is to Arabs what the Black Hand is to Sicilians the better off we will be. Mohammedism is nothing more than an organized criminal activity masquerading as a religion.

Beheading has always been quite popular and it cuts across cultural lines. (Sorry)
The Japanese were happily beheading people all through the first half of the twentieth century. The Turks beheaded enemies during the Korean War. The Koreans beheaded people during the Vietnam War. It seems the French were beheading people up until 1977. Of course they did it in a weird French way.

I think it's the kidnapping part that makes this so sinister. Being arrested by the Japanese, tortured into confessing some crime and then having one's head taken off in the middle of a crowded street with a samurai sword was pretty sinister too.
Really, it's among the most humane ways to kill someone, as well as economical. Done cleanly, blood loss from the brain causes fainting in just a couple seconds. And all that is needed is a knife and a smooth rock or crockery with which to sharpen it. Particularly sensible for the economically disadvantaged. And look, I haven't even made any puns that I know of.
Let the captured terrorists PLEAD with their buddies to behave...
