Actually, Al Jazeera is more valuable to us than you might think, in more ways than probably anyone can imagine.
It's important for Arabs to know what their radical "brothers" are up to. As this war progresses, entities like Al Jazeera will prove instrumental in marginalizing terrorist groups and assisting in their capture.
Just watch.

I also think that AJ is critical to keep broadcasting for two reasons:
1. Their broadcasts really piss off Americans and keep us focus on why we're fighting these b@st@rds in the first place.
2. Terrorists want to brag about what they've done. AJ is the "big name in town" to get their news out. It's like a media honey pot for terrorist flies. It's just a matter of time to convert the honey pot into a roach motel.
I have felt that the Arab in the street is so unable to reason the situation out himself is because Al Jajeera casts such a slanted view (to say the least). As long as this continues, the shopkeeper will be our enemy. I don't give them much credit, do I?
On another note, I went to your "about" page and have been reading for the last 30 minutes. It was compelling and now bookmarked for more reading. One paragraph I particularly liked and gave new insight to the prison "scandal" was as follows~~"Bush's contrition only rubs salt into the wounds to Arab pride. Not only are these jihadis reduced to naked, groveling miserables -- in front of the world, and without a mark on them -- but we act like it didn't even require effort."
