"Wondering about the body of Paul Johnson?"

I know I am wondering. What is up with all those stories that don't make sense? What is the latest news on this? Have they found him yet?

When the Koreans start turning these rags into kim-che our presscorp will need a change of diapers.

That's why we need to kick the press corps out of there. It's going to be a dirty job, and we don't need whiny liberals screaming genocide.

You've got that right about what a useless piece of garbage the Geneva Convention is. Every war we've fought in with that useless code of conduct has always resulted in the other side widely disregarding that. Our soldiers have been tortured, murdered, we've constantly dealt with enemies out of uniform. They're savages and we need to deal with them as savages. The people we have in custody were captured attempting to ambush our people, with weaponry in their possession. The only way to have a chance of saving our people is to threaten to execute those we have in custody. We treat them as they treat ours. This has got to stop. And though I support President Bush, I am angered over the f*** up with not cleaning out Fallujah when we had the opportunity. They continue to have that as a sanctuary. We need to worry about that soldier and other US hostages who haven't been accounted for. And it's been months.

Time to turn the ROKs loose. I could almost feel sorry for the Islamacrazies ... almost.

The Korean War was a little before my time. Seriously I didn't even realized they had a standing army anymore. Care to share some info, so I can smile at what's coming after the terrorists?

Wondering about the body of Paul Johnson?

I was just thinking the same thing...this man found within hours...Paul had been murdered the end of last week.

" ...That might require some action that the President is unwilling to take before the election." Somehow I just knew this was GWB's fault!

How'd you make that great leap, and get this heinous murder related to the election?

What happened to this Korean man is not the President's fault, but it might be as the result of decisions he has made, specifically with his forebearance. As for the "great leap", I knew after the bodies of American contractors were hanging, burnt, from a bridge, that the President was not going to respond in a bold fashion, but was going to pursue a path that gives less fuel to his antiwar enemies.

I'm not blaming President Bush for following this course of action, but if Paul Johnson was not sufficient cause for him to open that can of whupass, a South Korean man certainly is not, no matter how anguished his pleas for help were. The President is going to take as low a profile as he can from here to Election Day, no matter what happens "over there". It might be different if something happens over here, but only if there is an overwhelming consensus that Islam needs to be eliminated, and that's not going to happen, even if the jihadists kill another three or four thousand of us.

After the election, I expect all hell to break loose. The President was gambling that Iraq would be pacified before the primary season, and he lost that gamble. With the Rats in full "hate Bush" mode, he knows he has to lay pretty low in order to make them look like fools. He might have even accomplished this by now if the Abu Ghraib pictures had never been taken. After Kerry is defeated, and sent home with his tail between his legs to go back to being TehRayZuh's housepet, the President can drop the whole "religion of peace" crap at his leisure, when it suits his needs. We can do what has to be done next in the war for civilization.

I wish I could remember the poster who came up with this theory on another thread, but he/she thought that maybe the Saudis are hiding Mr. Johnson's body to confuse the time of death. As we are learning, the terrorists are killing the hostages immediately, then toying with us. These soft, useless Saudi playboys are terrified of us, and also terrified of the monsters they helped create. I wouldn't put it past them.

I would propose the sane world respond by giving the islamites seventy-two hours to behead those responsible or an unnamed islamite masque in that country is incinerated. Then one masque per day gets leveled for every day those killers go unpunished.

That way THEY would be responsible for keeping their militants in check.

Leftwingnuts are wimps wanting to cut and run. Even if it strikes them in their own home they'll still blame Bush.

But I notice that CNN and MSNBC are reporting it as murder, not beheading.

Actually, Al Jazeera is more valuable to us than you might think, in more ways than probably anyone can imagine.

It's important for Arabs to know what their radical "brothers" are up to. As this war progresses, entities like Al Jazeera will prove instrumental in marginalizing terrorist groups and assisting in their capture.

I also think that AJ is critical to keep broadcasting for two reasons:

1. Their broadcasts really piss off Americans and keep us focus on why we're fighting these b@st@rds in the first place.

2. Terrorists want to brag about what they've done. AJ is the "big name in town" to get their news out. It's like a media honey pot for terrorist flies. It's just a matter of time to convert the honey pot into a roach motel.
