He's been very consistent, all along. It's a religion of peace, hijacked by terrorists.
Doesn't matter that the rank and file Muslims around the world (those you might call moderate because they don't personally bomb or behead anyone), have not forcefully condemned Muslims who commit terror acts. We mustn't even profile them.
Hmm. "You're either with us or with the terrorists." Why doesn't that apply to the millions of Muslims who remain silent rather than condemn terrorism?
Lyndon Johnson presided over a half-hearted war. He was too fastidious to nuke the enemy. George Bush now presides over a war we can only lose by default, by political hyper-correctness.
I can't imagine the US taking a spontaneous hard line against Islam itself. But it's easy to imagine the US pulling its punches in the name of tolerance. I worry about Bush losing the election, but I worry more about him losing the war.
Freedom cannot win if Truth remains a hostage to political correctness. We cannot win the War on Terror if we continue to mid-identify the enemy...
There they go again. CNN is saying a S. Korean man has been "executed." Not murdered. Executed like they do at the end of a legal process.
When, exactly, was it ever a religion of peace?
