See my post 19. There is a difference from "old time" to "now" the way these things are presented (I can't vouch for Shrek 2 tho it wouldn't shock me).
Adults getting bored just cuz there's no sex or other base innuendo or piggishness (like farting, burping, etc, which have appeared recently)? I NEVER get bored by truly great innocent, tasteful old Disney movies like Lady & the Tramp, Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi and the like.
Altho Pinnochio gets boring. But that's just not a great story, or not a great telling.
