DID YOU ACTUALLY SEE THE FREAKING MOVIE?
I saw it, and there is nothing in it which promotes cross-dressing or gay marriage. Shrek is a he-ogre and wears men's clothing at all times. Fiona is a she-ogre and wears ladies' clothing. They are heterosexuals.
Go get a life.
Oh don't even try to tell me to leave a thread. You're the one obsessing about men in women's underwear. You lost any credibility when you started accusing those on here (that you don't even know) of allowing it in their homes and participating in the behaviour themselves. You are an idiot.
What do I consider harmful to kids? Being raised by a tight ass who was afraid of everything, would certainly be one thing that I would consider harmful.
"and labelling us all as "homosexual apologists"
Where have I said that you all are homosexual apologists?
Have I called everyone here a homosexual apologist? No.
Where do you learn to think?
"you're very defensuive".
No, all I am doing is returning the cute remarks made to me, oh biased one, since you have nothing to say to them who started the personal attacks.
I didn't start the cute remarks, so you are talking to the wrong person.
When you go talk to the ones who started the cute remarks, then come back.
"I think this entire thread is ridiculous"
Then why are you still here? That doesn't make any sense. You being still here after feeling that way only proves that you are at least as ridiculous as that which you call ridiculous. Since you think this thread as being ridiculous, I shouldn't expect to see anymore comments from you on it....that is if you don't want to give the impression that you are dumb enough to hang around a thread after calling it ridiculous.
"Are you one of those who scours Disney movies for anything that might look like a penis"
Whoa...you said it I didn't. I wonder why that thought was on your mind? Then again the reason is obvious.
"you're a very strange person"
Because I adress the subtle hints of crossdressing within the movie Shrek2? As well, if crossdressing literature wasn't going into schools, then this obviously wouldn't be a problem to be addressed, at least not right now. As well, the APA held a symposium on crossdressing and other disorders in 2003, and crossdressing wasn't taken off the list of mental disorders.
You need to be calling crossdressers strange. Yet you haven't. That speaks volumes.
I could care less how many crossdressers there are. If there are 50, or 5 million that still doesn't change the fact that crossdressing themes don't belong in childrens movies, in any way, shape form, or fashion. But obviously you don't feel that way, and that also speaks volumes.
"Maybe you hang ewith a different crowd than I do"
Yes, you not condemning crossdressing/transgenderism speaks volumes, like I said, and tells alot about who you most likely hang out with.
You said earlier that I lost what shred of credibility I had on this thread.
Since you say that your opinion means just as much as mine that means that you would then have no credibilty as well.
LOL!
I'm not the one drooling over underwear and transgenders.
Yes I did answer the question earlier.
As well, You left out the parts about pinnochio and the wolf, and the crossdressing hints that are connected to them.
"Go get a life"
If I need to get a life, what does that say about you posting here, on this "lifeless" thread?
As well, if this thread is lifeless, what are you doing here?
You apparently are the one who needs to get a life, then.
Puhleeze...It is obviously you and others like you who have not condemned crossdressing/transgenderism who apparently are the ones who do the drooling.
Your silence on condemning crossdressing/transgenderism speaks volumes.
So, not content to merely trash a movie you see evil in, you're now going to trash your fellow posters on FR?
That's very telling.
It's telling me you know you've made a complete fool out of yourself on this thread.
It's also telling me you have some major "issues" with your sexuality.
Please explain what you mean by this.
Wow...I didnt know that this movie was bad for me.... I saw it and I saw the first one too, My 10 year old daughter liked it and so did I.
Uh oh... my sexuality is starting to make me nervous.
What are you wearing right now! Tell the truth! :-)
uhhh...Tennis shoes ,shorts, and a shirt...oh and socks...thats it..I swear
It's funny....and it pokes fun at a lot of things. (I did like the part about putting Tinkerbell in the jars....).
Once again...some idiot...is trying to tell us that this one movie will bring about the end of the world.
Perhaps they should just be better parents....
redrock
But then, I guess life is so much simpler when you are convinced that you have the only frnachise on the path to heaven. You remind me of a Moslem.
I'm surprised nobody has brought up the Simpsons episode in which Marge protests violence by Itchy and Scratchy. Unless someone posted it after post #242.
foreverfree
Did anybody mention the Globe Theater in Merry Olde England where they did those subversive plays by a radical named Shakespeare? And all the girls' parts were played by men?
Horrors!
For the record, I would like to state that the lot of you are clearly homosexual apologists. And at least one of you is wearing men's panties right now.
I bet it's sinkspur. ;)
