Hollywood's love for pedophilia marches on.

This is just "art" - nothing to worry about. Movies don't affect society unless they are produced by Mel Gibson...

I did not see the name of the director but assume it is Roman Polanski...do you think Kidman and Polanski(?) will get an award that they will be able to receive in person?

I believe Kidman just turned 37. As for the kissing scene, I don't like it but I'd like to hear the dramatic context of it and the consequences of it afterward. However, if those consequences happen to be the tub scene, that's a bit disturbing. (I can't imagine a good spin that would make the tub scene sound reasonable.)

It's tempting to say "lucky kid." OTOH, this child pornography, nothing more or less. People should go to jail for it.

File this one in the "WHAT was she thinking?!" category.

Ten years from now, people like you and I will be called "haters" and some variation of "intergenophobe" for our opposition to so-called "intergenerational intimacy."
Supporters of the perversion will twist the Bible and the classical tradition to support their degeneracy.
TV movies about "lovers torn apart by a world that didn't understand" will show up on the schedule.
Who will spearhead this movement? A segment of the population far larger than sodomites: middle-aged lechers who want legal permission to prey on highschool girls.
You know, "Michael Kennedy and the babysitter" situations.

Trust me, it'll be nominated for tons of awards because it's so avant-guard. When decent people complain, the Hollywood idiots will claim censorship and scream all that "there's a chill wind blowing. . " crap.

10 year old boys should be out playing ball and chasing their sisters around with garter snakes. It is sad that our society has become so sexualized that kids can't be kids anymore.
This little boy's parents should be thrown in jail, along with Ms. Kidman and the directors.
To: Paul Atreides
If the public does not show some righteous indignation for this woman/boy sexual antic then the NAMBLA crowd will be in the waiting pushing for graphic depictions of man/boy "love". Then comes the movement for the lowering of the age of consent. A slippery slope indeed.
To: Paul Atreides
Oh grose! Where are the boy's parents in all this?

Actually a man/girl film was made some years ago with Brook Shields. I believe it was called pretty baby and the story line was she was raised in a whore house, and became a child whore.

I'm really appalled that Nicole Kidman, a mother of two children (one of them a boy), would consent to do this role. I can't even put it into words. I'm speechless. It's a movie I definitely won't be seeing.
To: Paul Atreides
Oh, and her son is one year younger (he's 9) than the boy in the movie (who's 10). What was she thinking!
