Actually he is right, but it was before the Berlin Wall fell. His 1988 Democratic convention speech was the most boring, rambling piece of crap and was the worst I remember sitting through in my life to that point. I didn't know who that idiot was, but I hated him.
Even the Democrat biggies thought his speech was terrible and said "this guy will never be heard from again." Boy, were they wrong.
But, even still...NOBODY went after him. Nobody talked about him after that speech.
