USGA is now watering the 7th hole green after every group.
Probably because the name of the course starts with "Shinne" and not "Bent."
Something we need more of, is that a scoundrel like Clinton can have the money to get in and play but is not allowed based on his reputation.
Personally, I think it was because their name was too close to what Monica was doing!
Mickelson birdies to go to -3 thru 5, two back of Goosen.
The 7th appears to be easily faster than linoleum at this point...
I am surprised at this - since the Hamptons is now dominated by the "nuvo-riche" Wall Street bubble money crowd that made their fortunes during the 90s.
I am wondering when they will stop referring to Tiger as the #1 ranked golfer on the tour.
First two groups made triple bogey and then they hauled out the water..
If Ernie Els wins today, he's the new #1 I think.

You are right about Els. Thanks for the update about 7. I did not hear that on the broadcast probably because I was switching back and forth to the History Channel on the middle ages during the early part. The 7th was just pathetic yesterday.
