You're the second poster to say that instead of purple rage, Clinton did very well, or as the other person said "ran rings around Starr" (never mind that Starr wasn't even there).
He did not do well. It is when he informed us there are different nuances to the meaning of "is".
The rage story was indeed sent out to deflect and misdirect--and it wasn't because he did well.
The purpose of the purple rage red herring re. the depo was to distract the sheeple from the fact that Clinton looked INCREDIBLY weak, put-upon and unpresidential during the procedure.
People were watching for the blowup and thus ignoring how pathetic he looked.
(You can believe this "BBC blowup" is a PR stunt.)
