I agree that the "couch" comment was figurative, not literal, but I think it was definitely intentional - both for him and for her. The image is that Hillary is not the doormat who just accepted her husband's philandering and Bill can still manage to evoke sympathy from his wet panty admirers - poor Bill, the most powerful man in the world *forced* to sleep on the couch!

He's still playing the arousal gappers for the emotional fools they are. I'm sure he uses this line on the chicks when he's trying to get to bed with them. "Even when ahh was President of the United States, mah wahhf made me sleep on the couch..."

Morris wrote about PURPLE RAGE in his book.

He said that Clinton tackled him once at the Gov.'s mansion, wrestled on the floor.LOL

well remember when the testimony of clinton before starr? THe advanced word was he was hostile to the questions and enraged...blah blah blah. we watched it and he wasnt a bit. It was a rope a dope by his handlers to prime people and make them have a let down. I want to see the tape myself, remember he is a master manipulator of the press.

I think I object. Scum that he is, He was still the
president. The White House exists for his use.
It's not something that Hillary had any right to control.
If she had a beef with POTUS, SHE should have left the White House.

It could be a ratings stunt. Don't get me wrong, I hoped it happened, but this guy will stop at nothing to get people to focus on him.

I'd say that's a pretty sure bet

Everything they do is scripted .. kind of like falling alseep at Reagan's funeral while President Bush was speaking

I'm surprised the Lefty BBC pressed Bubba on a sensitive topic. Underneath all the affable poise is a guy who feels inadequate and miserable. Just as liberals feel these days. No wonder Clinton and the Democrats are made for each other.

"I'll have to wait to see the actual interview...this sounds much like the leak story of Clinton's videotaped testimony, where he supposedly stormed out of the room and it ended up making him look good compared to the viewer's expectations."

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! This is exactly what I was thinking the moment I saw the word "meltdown." This is the same tactic they used last year shortly before Hildabeast's book was released ("It's not ready!") as they did, what, five or six weeks ago, in regards to Bubba's book.

I'll believe it when I see it (how can I watch it? Any Freeper in Britain that could at least record the sound if not the video?)

Maybe "the couch" was the code word for another intern.

Or....he went and crawled into Ken Lay's bed in the Lincoln Bedroom....

"How freaking stupid does this imbecile think that we are?"

Oh, I don't know. How about stupid enough to elect him - twice?

Fear not. Clinton had Secret Service providing hot and cold running interns whether he was in the White House or not. I doubt he felt threatened in the least. Henry Hyde did more to chase that polecat out of the house than Hillary ever did.

And add in the absolute Bull $hit about sleeping on a couch for two months, with all of the empty bedrooms in the private quarters of the White House.

That lie was put in there so he could bond with the little people.

You're right. Lot's of room at Motel 1600 during the Bubba years, so the counch was not his only option. Hey, they USSS tracks the location of every protectee while they are in the White House according to the book, "Inside The White House" by Ron Kessler.

PLUS......in the middle of the nigtht, if the balloon goes up, they have to know where to find old Cattin' Around Bill. So you know they know where he's at during the wee hours.

Wonder if the NYT or CBS has the balls to make an FOIA request to see if he indeed was on the couch? What am I saying, they've netured themselves into irrelevancy...

Like they ask in business deals, "What's the down side?" When you're not having to sleep with Hillary, ask for two YEARS.

I doubt it.

There were reports of times where he asked for them to go into a crowd and get some chickee-poo's phone number, but they can't ask, "Is this business or pleasure?" before honoring the request. After all, he's politician and making contacts is key. Of course we all know that usually that info was intended for "Little Bill's" use, but they had no way of proving that.

Or we can take him at his (lying) word and blame Hillary for forcing the leader of the free world to not get adequate sleep and in the process he wasn't alert enough to deal with Al Qaeda and possibly avoid 911. So 911 is Hillary's fault...or we can assume he's lying like usual.

sleeping on a couch

Dick Morris called this a total lie months ago and reminded everyone that it was Hillary who had Ms. Monica moved out of the White House long before Bill supposedly slobbered his confession.

Yes, they think we're stupid. They've always thought we're stupid.
