The media wants to "protect us." I have no idea why.
They only want to "protect us" when it serves their leftist agenda; they know that showing videotape of Americans getting beheaded and/or jumping out of the WTC with babies in their arms inspires feelings of nationalism, which almost always plays into the GOP's favor. That's why they do their best to avoid showing them. On the other hand, airing countless photos of Americans as perpetrators - ie, the Abu Ghraib "scandal" - serves their purposes to a tee.


I totally agree. Showing Americans reality of how the enemy operates might have the effect of galvanizing us to support this war.

I am going to be calling and emailing all the major media outlets - including Fox and demanding they show these "gruesome" facts of reality.
