and by afternoon he's back to swinging at pitches in the dirt. GW handles politics real well, but he doesn't deal with terrorists as well in my opinion.

What did Bush do this afternoon to be seen as "swinging at pitches in the dirt"? I guessed I missed it.

Just once I think a lot of people would like to see a proactive position during an event like this. A statement that says "if you harm a hair on his head we'll do ......"

People will argue about if we're doing enough or not, but at least we'll be perceived as being proactive.

Remember the Mel Gibson movie where they kidnap his kid, and he goes on television threatening the kidnappers? I know it's just a movie. But name one person that didn't like that part? That type of leadership is what will rally this country behind our president.
