And where is he supposed to get the troops to do this? Saudi is much bigger and much more empty than Iraq. We could destroy it easily enough, a matter of pushing a few buttons, but I don't think we can take it over in any useful sense. We could take the capitial and the oild fields, but we'd have the same problem holding and maintaining those as we are having in Iraq, only more so.
Still it might be worth the bother, just to really PO Osama and his Islamofacists.

At least he'd be attacking the real source of the 9-11 attacks, as there's no argument that 15 of the 19 were Saudis.

The lefties I work with know about FR and peruse the site regularly (whether they post or not). Its comments like the above that cement in their minds that we are the bad guys...bent on Imperialism, driven by hunger for oil - not justice. One of the keys to beating them is to convince them that we are right. They (leftists in this country) do not take us seriously because of comments like this one. We HAVE to get them to take us seriously, or they will continue to have control over how the left-vs-right battlefield is defined. As it stands now, they have defined the terms of engagement and we have been denied a contribution to those terms. We will not win the fight to salvage this country until we adopt a strategy that addresses the terms of engagement they defined.
As for the Islamists (and they are all radical IMHO), their lack of a connectivity with a sense of humanity is legendary. Their capacity for barbarism shines like a beacon in acts like this. How sad, and telling, that so few in the world recognize it for what it is.....Evil.
