"I'm pretty much fed up with our country's inaction."

I'm still trying to figure out why, after 15 years of murder and war...after the loss of 700+ American troops (not counting Desert Storm casualties that I can't recall)...after all his crimes against humanity....

WHY IS SADDAM STILL ALIVE?

Why did America sacrifice so much to bring this assclown to trial?

We sacrificed to bring Saddam to trial because it will help the Iraqi people heal. When they have had their say and healed somewhat, they will hang him in the town square.

At the Nuremberg trials, it was determined that it was important for the people who had been harmed by the Nazi regime to be able to speak of the atrocities at the trials which is why they lasted as long as they did.

We cannot even imagine the horrors they have lived with in Iraq. We read it. But we can't even begin to comprehend it. If we want them to heal and become whole, we will let them have their day in court, with our cautious guidance.
