Well, based on recent history they will probably surrender to him.

Have they made him an honorary citizen of Paris yet? You know, like they did with Mumia Abu Jamal.

Sarif will no doubt be given harsh punishment, by our Stalwart French allies. They'll probably sentence him to desecrating two Jewish gravesites and painting swasticas on three synagogues before deporting him to Iran.

To be fair, didn't Neville Chamberlain try the French approach?
"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time... Go home and get a nice quiet sleep."

Seems like the French of all people would remember

Ole Nevie must have had a little French in his lineage.

Have you seen my replacement for the controversial Pledge of Allegiance.

Pledge of Appeasement. "Flag. Country. We're Sorry. Please Don't Hurt Us. Amen!"

The Amen is optional and should be left off when spoken in public.

The French are quintessential neurotics. Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

SHHHHH! Not too loud, someone might hear you and actually make that the replacement.

BTW, I love your tagline.
I was just watching Discovery, or The History channel and saw a show on battles of WWII. Maybe you can remember the commanders name.
He had been surrounded and out numbered by the Germans for days and the German commander sent a representative over to discuss terms of surrender of our forces. Our commander sent him back with the message that he could not accept the German surrender because he didn't have the troupes to handle it.

Made me proud to be American!

Who was the American General in the Battle of the Bulge that replied to a German demand for surrender with a simple reply of "Nuts".

Great Men in tough times. I'd like to think that faced with the same situation, I would display the same courage.

Yep, me too. Like the guys that landed in Normandy. I guess the thought of not winning the engagement simply never entered their mind.
You called it: Great Men, true Heros indeed.
