Staff Report
WANA: Security forces on Thursday targeted militants' hideouts in mountains around Speenamulla in Asman Manzai area in South Waziristan Agency, sources told Daily Times.

Meanwhile, the political administration in Shakai held a meeting with the tribal elders and reminded them of their obligation to fulfil the agreement they reached with the government two months ago. The administration asked the elders to hand over four wanted persons to the government.
The tribal elders had assured the government that they would not attack security agencies. Nevertheless, attacks on the army continue. A landmine exploded on Tuesday, killing a soldier.
