Yes, because while you are both depraved, the teacher next door had the good sense to be discreet about it. Therefore you are fired because of your depravity AND your poor judgement. While the teacher next door is not.

Or one set of rules for the masses, another set for me. It is the mantra of religious rulers everywhere. "Do as I say, not as I do".

No, they are both immoral, but I can only protect my kids from what I know about. The highest moral plane is to love God and to love others.

If you do that and do it well, you would think of the kids and the example you set and you wouldn't go to Chippendales and you certainly wouldn't try to get school teachers to go. And you would fire teachers that don't set a good example for kids. Not because you condemn the teacher but because their acts have made them unfit to teach kids.
