Strange argument. Please explain why this hypothetical "stupid uneducated" black person with the 3.9 got the slot over the Asian with the 4.0. Also explain why Asians should be punished for your alleged "positive stereotype" that I'm not sure even exists.

LOL... you think that everyone with a 4.0 should get into school? You're fooling yourself. Did Bush get a 4.0 to get into Yale or wherever he went? BTW, if you don't think that Asians benefit from the stereotype of being smart and educated then you've not gotten out much or you're not aware of prevailing attitudes about people.

And I went to this school... I knew a black kid who had a 4.0 and people were always accusing him of being an AA admission. This came from white kids who could not even begin to qualify for computer sciene at Stony Brook.
