18 years. I grew up in a Christian home, was taught to pray, and was in church every time the doors opened when I was a child. I didn't have any kind of falling out, and I'm not hostile toward the Christian religion. I just gradually got the sense that nobody was out there listening, that's all.
If you find something worthwhile in religion, I'm glad for you, Like I said in my original post, it just didn't click with me. Taken from a Calvinist viewpoint, maybe that means I'm not one of the Elect. Who knows...just stating where I'm coming from.
