I might be naive --- but I thought he was just pointing out that his dad's faith was genuine and he wasn't using it for political gain. I didn't think he necessarily was pointing a finger at any particular other politician --- just eulogizing that his father's religious was real and not for politics.
But I am pretty good at reading between the lines, and judging from YOUR past posts, so are you.
