Prince Charles also seemed to be nodding off.

Exactly. If you wanted to speak so bad, then you would be sitting there listening to those other speakers that went in your stead. Especially Bill Clinton, who believes he is entitled to do anything he wants, would be seething with envy and rage, consumed by his own ego and hatred.
The fact that he nodded off means three things: 1) he really never wanted to speak, 2) this was staged, or 3) he is, indeed, coming off an all night coke binge.

How did the Clinton's score a front row seat? It was odd that they were in the front row all by themeselves over a half hour before the funeral. Did they switch seat tags when no one was looking?

A classic narcissist can not bare to hear praise directed toward anyone else.
One effective way to injure a malignant narcissist is to highly praise someone else in his or her presence.
I'm in the process of writing an historical fiction novel based upon a real people. The central character is a narcissist who has lived 80+ years blind to the banquet of life surrounding her. She is lost in her own reflection. When a person has herself as her own god, she is truly alone.

I doubt it was intentional (although they could have made an effort to stay awake). Bush's speech was long.

else could not stand the sight of the hag to his left so had closed his eyes Now THAT is certainly a reason to want your eyes closed...maybe even gouged out with a hot poker...anything not to look at that woman.

Well yeah, it is kind of hard to nod off when you are drinking beer and eating donuts, cheeseburgers, French Fries, etc. in the backyard with chicks snapping their thongs at you. That's frankly about all that scum deserves.
You just described my perfect weekend!

I didn't think it was that long. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was honest and spoken with feeling.
Watching the Clintons sleep was amazing to me! Yes, they did surprise me. Guess it shouldn't have. Hillary looks like it may be time for some more botox too. Maybe by closing her eyes she felt it wouldn't be as noticeable?
It was different with Al Gore. He seemed respectful.JMHO, of course.

His Slickness probably knows that people will not remember him like they did RWR.
He squandered 8 years and he knows it. Only thing that will be draped on his coffin will be that Blue Dress from the Gap.

C-SPAN said they were going to have videos of every event .. I wonder if they will edit that picture out .. LOL! The Clintons deserve to be discredited .. and they didn't deserve to be in the front row if they were going to disgrace themselves so badly by being disrespectful of the Reagan family.

Are talking about John Danforth. He was the Republican Senator from Missouri who single handedly got Clarence Thomas confirmed. For that alone, he is a great man.

Bush's speech was short and sweet compared to the marathons that Clinton subjects audiences to. Probably why Nancy didn't want him speaking. There aren't enough hours in the day to accommodate the wordy one.

But they do it every time. She has a puss face on every single Bush speech, and both of them had their eyes shut, when all around them no one else did, except maybe Prince Charles.
I really think they meant to do it, although we all know it is easy to do sometimes.
