France seems to embrace Islam (and punish lightly those committing crimes in the name of Islam). Now why would they prosecute BB (who used only words which insulted some Muslims) more severly than an Islamic assailant (who used a knife to attack a Jew)

Indeed I think I've gotten the feeling and understand the French mentality - egocentric, moral-rotten, and a fair amount of jealousy.
