And if you mean, if someone shot Davis, I'd say that's a resounding "yes".

If an overzealous prosecutor tried a good Samaritan who shot Davis to protect this Major, and I sat on the jury, there would be a "not guilty" verdict, or at worst a hung jury. And I'd make some really ugly comments to the press about the prosecutor afterwards.
