Looking at the schedule of events, IMHO, the one who has the hardest job is Danfort...He'll be following what I expect will be three superb eulogies, and he's not that great a speaker to begin with, and if his homily is pap and pablum, it'll be a huge downer...I hope he has ONE good sermon left in him..

Well, after showing the Ford/Clinton interaction (and ABC then showed Margaret Thatcher taking her seat next to Gorbachev), Matthews gave an interesting tidbit:

First he wondered if we'd see Clinton and Gore speak at all. Then he informed viewers that he and Lester Holt saw on another feed they had not aired John Kerry and Bill Clinton speaking in each others' ears. Matthews said it very much had the air of "backroom dealings".

Hmmmmmmmmm

I'll guess advice from Clinton of how Kerry should comport and maneuver himself about the place for maximum "advantage" as they would perceive it.
