I lost it when Lady Thatcher spoke, and again with Pres. Bush 41's and Pres. Bush 43's magnificent tributes. And that beautiful music..

I never, ever regained it. When the Irish Tenor began with Ava Maria, I knew a box of tissues wouldn't last the day. Not wanting to miss a beat, I stayed glued to the TV and never logged on. I was tempted to after hearing Ron's caustic comment and thought it might have been directed at GWB. After it was over, I was too exhausted from crying to log on. What a beautiful ceremony from start to finish. Will read the live thread to see what people's take was on bitter Ron. Perhaps I jumped to the wrong conclusion but I trust my instincts when my hair stands on end and all strands were erect.
