I heard some moron on the Alan Colmes show last night complaining about how the pubs have politicized the death.

That argument just cracks me up. Reagan was a politician, for goodness sakes! The libs don't want any actual mention of Reagan's politics, particularly how they were on the wrong side of what he stood for, because they look naive and petty by comparison. And they're so worried that this outpouring of love for Reagan might translate into votes for W, that they want to put a stop to it.

I really don't see much in the way of politics here. Margaret Thatcher came pretty close, but kept to the big picture and global issues as opposed to partisan comments. This is a great departure from the Paul Wellstone funeral.
