If you're asking me, there was nothing wrong with Iran-Contra. It was a pragmatic response to the twin evils of communism and terrorism.

But the Slimes spin has been that the administration broke "the law", and President Reagan knew about it and/or planned it. It only took 10 paragraphs of their multi-page obituary for them to begin the spin. And what the Slimes spins on Monday usually becomes DNC talking points on Tuesday. The liberal historians pick up on the Slimes spin and the cycle is complete.

I agree with you, c in nyc; I never had a problem with Iran-Contra, except for the spin by the liberals who turned it into what they did. And I also stand by Ollie North.
