Tinfoil time, the Challenger was due to the damage cause during takeoff w hen the insulation struck the wing. Don't need no star wars bug zapper story to account for it. In fact Freepers ID'd the cause long before NASA could/did.

The Challenger did not blow up due to takeoff damage. It was due to o-rings or something like that. You're thinking of the recent one - that I cant think if right this minute.
