I read the article but not all the posts. Don't they have 'freedom of speech' in France? We need to trade Michael Moore for her!!

Many countries do not even have a valid written Constitution.

The European parliamentary system Hillary and Bill and Kerry and algore so adore is a recipe for disaster and unworkable in a large "free" country.

It would do away with America's electoral college and NY, CA, TX, NJ, and FL would rule the rest of the USA.

There would be a Civil War first.

The USSR used a parliamentary system; Italy and other nations went thru countless Prime Ministers in short periods of time.

Tony Blair can be out on his butt in a flash if he loses his backing in Parliament.

"Pure democrary" the left seems to think the USA should have is slavery to a majority that would vote itself endless "entitlements" and bennies and freevies.

Our Founding Fathers told us that; the Romans said taxes exceeding 25% would bring down their empire (corrections anyone?) and high (selective) taxes and corruption and many other factors surely did not help Rome.

In GB and Canada you are not even presumed innocent until proven guilty.

"Human rights" is big talk and used to intimidate and prosecute and control the residents of a country.

You now see the UN attempting to say that American soldiers in Iraq can be tried in International Court for "war crimes".

Better prepay your insurance Kofi.

Even here in the USA one woman was accused, charged, tried, and convicted for saying a ethnic slang word quietly to her daughter in a restaurant.

A "hispanic" deputy overheard her and filed an "official complaint".

The woman was arrested, tried, convicted to over a month in jail I believe.

"Hate speech!"

Public outcry got the judge to reduce her sentence to time swerved of about two days, but only after she signed away her rights to appeal and agreed not to sue.

The Deputy, DA, and judge should all be ....

But that's just me -

I see lots unrest out there.

Something is going to pop.
