If there are so many people born with this condition, how come I've never seen or heard of one come forward as the spokesperson for the 150,000 Americans suffering with such affliction. Maybe, I'm just out of touch, but where are the Hollywood advocates for research funding to find a cure for a medical condition afflicting Americans in such numbers? Don't you think it would be fitting for Al Franken to pick up the guidon and lead a fund raising campaign to atone for his insensitive remarks? What open minded, compassionate American wouldn't donate generously to Al Franken's Suppoprt For Atypical Genitalia?
