Liberal firebrand Al Franken was forced to apologize for an on-air quip ridiculing someone as a hermaphrodite during his radio show.
According to Bodies Like Ours, an intersex support group, Franken was insensitive when he said conservative talk show host Sean Hannity was “born a hermaphroditic conjoined twin” and “the doctor who delivered him and his twin reacted in horror at their birth.”
Following a flood on angry email, Franken apologized for “furthering the unjustified stigma attached to these conditions.” He said an estimated one in 2000 people are born with atypical genitalia, which, like conjoinment, is a naturally-occurring bodily variation.
“I am sorry for the ill-considered joke,” he said.
Typical liberal hate speech. I can't believe anybody takes this guy seriously.

I listened for a while on the Chicago station until they pulled the plug.
I was listening on the day they switched the format but it took about 15 minutes for me to realize that the unintelligible jibberish wasn’t Franken but actually Chinese or Japanese.
So Al Franken and Pat were separated at birth.
Not that there's anything wrong with that!
This is why liberal talk radio will never succeed. They will always be looking over their shoulders in fear of the latest PC speech codes.
Can you imagine if Rush had stopped to appologize to every criticism early in his career? (and yes, he gets it from BOTH sides all the time)

The really pitiful thing, in a poetic-justice kind of way, is that people like Franken who butt-kiss the "moshpitminds" can never grow up themselves, because they'd lose their constituency, the young idiots of America.

AIR AMERICA? NEVER AGAIN
OK ... that makes two times now I've accepted an invitation to be a guest on Al Franken's show on Air America. You know what they say: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Well .... shame on me. What an idiot for accepting that second invitation.
As I've said from the beginning ... I want Air America to succeed. If Air America fails the left will use that failure as yet another excuse to try to limit, control, reign in or otherwise bring down conservative talk radio by a notch or to. So ... my thought was that if I could help Air America by appearing on the air with Franken once in a while ... no problem! Let's do it.
Well ... just about 20 minutes ago I finished my second and my last Franken segment. There was no "Hey, Neal. Thanks for being on the show!" No "How are things going?" It was just attack attack attack from the minute I came on the air. Franken seems to be obsessed over whether or not I did or did not invite him to host my show at some time in the past. I do remember asking those clowns from Democratic Talk Radio to host the show once, but they demanded full control of all production aspects and the phone calls, and we said no. All Franken could talk about was whether or not I had specifically invited him! You know what? Frankly, I can't really remember. After 35 years of talk radio how in the hell can you remember who you did and who you didn't ask to guest host. Besides .. it's really just not that important! So ... just to get the record straight, I went ahead and invited Franken to host the show while I was on the air with him today. His answer? "No." Then he segued into essentially calling me a liar and somehow changed the topic into whether or not Democrats were opposed to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Wow! Compelling stuff!
This is supposed to be fun, folks! We're supposed to be entertaining listeners. I do guest shots with talk show hosts, conservative, libertarian and leftist, virtually every week. Most of these people are professionals who know how to entertain. Al Franken approaches his show with a nasty demeanor and mean temperament. No wonder he's working for free! Life's too short, Al. See ya later. Don't call me, I'll call you. Maybe.
Franken is just another liberal punk who doesn't have the balls to insult anyone to their face...
Give me 2 seconds in an elevator with the moron and you wouldn't hear a word out of his mouth for at least six weeks(that's how long the mouth is wired shut when the jaw is broken}

Somone posted above that Randi Rhodes quit the network. That was the first I had heard it. Is that true? Did she go back to being a nothing ball local host?
