LibertyLight sent me these photos from the Reagan Memorial in NYC so that I could upload and post them for her.
These next photos are ones I took from the memorial yesterday from television.
Hahahaha! Bump!
ping!
No it's in front of the Plaza hotel on Fifth Avenue at the foot of Central Park. I wasn't sure so I checked some photos of the entrance to the Plaza and that is the spot.
Anybody else notice the casket was not squared on it's perch?
One of the hazards of learning to enjoy wood working..
All the more bravery then. Sure looks like 23rd to me though. They redid that Park you know. You may be right , I cannot remember where I have seen that fountain. I know it but I cannot place it.
Somebody mentioned this in a thread yesterday. It was leaning to the right.
God bless them both and give her the strength to carry on without him. They will always be together in spirit and will meet again in Heaven.
It's amazing what you can find out on the internet. It turns out it's called the Pulitzer fountain. http://www.vacationidea.com/new_york_city/pulitzer_fountain_nyc.html
Thanks
Thank you for these photos. They're wonderful.
Great post. Thanks! Really nice to see the pics from NYC
I see he's in a wheelchair now.
But that doesn't excuse him from being a low life communist.
Your welcome bump!
But that doesn't excuse him from being a low life communist.
Well, yeah :-))
That's a given.
Yep!
I agree though..it was a beautiful service.
bttt
Disgusting as it is to inject the Clintons into this, I agree. The only time we saw anything resembling affection between the Clintons was when it was staged for the cameras. And how long has it been since they've been seen together now? How long has it been since they've even seen each other period? What a sham from two of the biggest phonies in politics.
Anytime we saw Mrs. Reagan with the President she was truly doe-eyed and looked like a giddy teenager. She was wholly, selflessly, and sacrificially devoted to her beloved.
That's inspiring.
I agree. Reagan and his wife weren't staging anything. Their love was a real love. One that even overtook the disease at the end of his life. If even for a split second.
