As promised, this is from my brother, f zero. He and I, along with our parents, children (5), (3 ½) and (3) and f zeros wife attended and were awed by the spectacle and admiration of the entire crowd. Long wait, but all were appropriately deferential and polite, as befitting the occasion.
Bless you for posting these! I had a Little League game tonight and was not able to get down for the procession.
Thank you so much. You really captured the day.
Your brother's photos are so good it's as if we're right there with you. Thank you for sharing them.
I have two questions for you: Why did you choose the screen name "pettifogger", and did you remember to say "Arigatu" to the Japanese TV station? :o)
I was kind of apalled that the crowd clapped and cheered as the former President passed by. And the music was more reminicient of a parade than a solemn funeral procession. How did you feel about it?
How many hours did you have to wait?
These are wonderful photos, and for freepers like me, it really makes it seem like we were there.
This photo is my favorite. The composition is excellent and it's professional quality.
