A late comment on your post about Gorby in Geneva. I just got home from DC a while ago.
There was a photographer interviewed on TV - Brit's show? - (I've also seen him several times on Dennis Miller's show, but do not remember his name) who took was there in Geneva, took a photo of the two men sitting on either side of a roaring fireplace, and made the same comment about Gorbachev really liking Reagan.
Was the photographer David Hume Kennerly? He also took that picture of Reagan saluting a man in uniform who was saluting him.
